Myth 1 - Chapman shot Lennon in the back four times. Truth – Multiple medical testimony and police witnesses all agreed, that Lennon was shot in his chest. Myth 2 – Lennon was shot in the driveway. Truth – Lennon was shot inside the vestibule area. The lead detective confirmed this in 1980 and he confirms it today. Witness statements also corroborated this.
David have you read this article published one month before John's passing?
Not only was it front page..(not sure why) but there was no interview done..and the article is almost a stalking "how to" on John's life, his properties, his wealth, his activities etc. Again why were the publishers at Esquire so interested in making this an expose on his private life in Nov 1980? Not even a mention of Double Fantasy which I assume means it was written before release. The imagining of John's isolation tank at the end feels like a parallel of death. In Lennon’s December 1980 interview with Rolling Stone magazine, he mentions reading this article and was not impressed by it. He said the writer was “Like a fan who used to be in love with you and then turned against you. Here he is looking at cows and I’m making an album, and I don’t even know the asshole.”
David? Next journey? I would suggest doing an expose on National Enquirer and to discuss how a media company had any legal or ethical right to publish the picture of John in the morgue? When you consider their demograph audience ..you realize they relish the idea of exposing the supposed hypocrisy of the rich and famous and cater to those who believe it. Sounds like selling phoniness may be their fake news motto. Sound familiar to what Chapman said of the world and Lennon? How is being a religious zealot not the same as a follower of fake realities and fake news? We see the same today except this time political power has less inclination to hide their involvemenst and hush moneys paid through the National Enquirer. What is the difference if you follow a Bible/Koran or Catcher in The Rye or National Enquirer? I suspect the followers of such things are the same mindset delusional freaks that walk among us now. Explain who pays for his wife's visits to his prison yearly for his conjugal visits? Is it her "All About Jesus Ministries" in Hawaii which I believe also has an affiliation in Georgia......where he came from..or has she been compensated via other streams?

Accessed via a driveway from the rear side along 73rd Street" )

The basement entrance is close to the main entrance. My guess is that the second killer was on the second grid. He only had to walk a few meters to escape and then to 73rd Street. Do you think you’re making a probable reconstruction by including the location of the second killer?
My last question is where is yoko? If there was a second killer how come yoko didn’t see him ? I think that’s the main question?

From the very beginning, this story was very strange to me and a few days ago I heard from Jason Bermas (he quoted the daily mirror) that there were two different bullets in John’s body....
Your version of events is very credible except for one thing. If there was a second shooter in the vestibule, then surely Yoko would have seen him killing her husband. In which case, she would have tried to stop him or attempted to stop him from fleeing the scene or at the very least would have screamed at that moment calling attention to the fact there was a second perpetrator.
Hi David, I want to congratulate on your quest to uncover the truth about the murder of John Lennon. I have been fascinated by this event for a long time, ever since I read the Bresler book many years ago. I was 16 when the murder happened and it's a moment frozen in my memory. I still have a copy of the Liverpool Echo from that day.
I have a feeling that your book will come to be seen as the definitive work on the case, and I can't wait to read it.
These are some questions that I am hoping you will be addressing:
1. Anomalies relating to their limousine - after the RKO interview on 8 Dec they were due to go to the recording studio but their limo never turned up, so they had to get a lift. Who ordered their limo to stay away? And when they left the recording studio, my understanding is that their regular limo never turned up, so they used a different one. Key questions - which limo company was it, and who was the driver?
2. Andy Peebles, who interviewed them on 6 December, stated that they always had bodyguards with them wherever they went. So where were they on 8 December? Who had the power to remove their security?
3. The morgue photo of JL. Who took it? Is it genuine? Why was it allowed to be released?
4. Why didn't the limo drive into the courtyard? How could the assassins be sure that the limo would let them out onto the pavement instead?
Hopefully these anomalies will be addressed in your book.
